For the
past two years, Marantz has set the standard by which all solid
state home theater video projectors are judged. First, we introduced
the VP-12S1 with its 1200:1 contrast ratio, Minolta optics and
Faroudja DCDi® video processing. Next came the award winning
VP-12S2, which improved the contrast ratio to 2600:1 and reproduced
the kind of black levels that made even CRT lovers stand up and take
notice. By adding a DVI (Digital Visual Interface) connection, the
VP-12S2 was able to take advantage of today’s digital video sources
like DVD and HD to their fullest capacities. But we weren&t content
to just sit back and enjoy the accolades. With our newest DLP
Projector, we are proud to introduce the latest invocation of Texas
Instruments’ DLP® technology and Marantz innovation to bring you the
VP-12S3. With even better black levels, higher contrast, and a slew

mode– optimize projector settings when used with an optional
anamorphic lens. In this display mode, the 16:9 widescreen display
receives 25% more resolution at the screen by using the full panel
and an anamorphic lens. |
